Last year, major electrical power interruptions affected more than 17 million people across the United States. Hundreds of millions more experienced minor power outages during that same period. ACScout understands your frustration when power interruptions occur. That’s why individuals and businesses have turned to us to monitor and log their AC power flow.
Our customers are great, and we're happy to say they feel the same about us. Take a look at some of their letters:
Gerry,
The ACSCOUT unit is AWESOME!! It actually helped me identify a power problem I had at my office. I still need the correct url information for the sales referral system to your site. Can you guide me to someone that has the information I need to get it up on my website?

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to test the AC Scout at Westgate River Ranch Resort. I found it to be a very versatile and useful tool. In the past we have had to be reliant on the power company to set up data loggers on their circuits and then send us their interpretations on the results. This is like having the fox guarding the hen house. This tool has already allowed us to discern certain patterns in the power fluctuations that we have been experiencing at the Ranch since we purchased the property and has given us the ability to have hard data with which to confront our power provider pertaining to our service level agreement.
I can also see how this can be a very useful tool for our technicians in diagnosing possible problems with intermittent failures of equipment by confirming or eliminating power quality as a factor in the failure. I can see where we would have many uses for this device besides just troubleshooting, such as setting them up as permanent monitoring point for our information and telecommunications systems, preventive maintenance on our back up generators, etc.
Sincerely, Pete Jaen

Dear Gerry:
I searched for a reasonably priced power monitor for quite a while before I found your product. While ACScout’s price is very affordable, I wanted to know that it would fit my unique application before making the purchase. I was very impressed when you took the time to understand the use I intended, and the additional effort you made to customize the unit for me really shows ACScout to be a customer service driven company.
I’m dropping this note to tell you the unit is working well in our unique software environment and I very much appreciate the extra steps you took to ensure my satisfaction.
It’s been a pleasure working with ACScout. I look forward to your next generation of tools to monitor AC.
Sincerely,

Hi Sandy!
I forgot to mention in my last correspondence that the ACScout practically paid for itself the first time I used it. For over a year, the lights in my house frequently dimmed for over 30 seconds. This didn’t correspond with any of my appliances turning on or off, nor the furnace or air conditioner. Calls to the electric company were met with claims that there was nothing wrong and that this was a normal occurrence. After only an hour or so of use, the ACScout showed there to be a serious drop in the voltage AND line frequency which was then addressed by the electric company…. apparently, something was wrong with one of the transformers. Now all is well and I’m a very happy customer and fan of ACScout!
All the best,
Sue Kent
Good Afternoon,
I had been having problems with voltage sags and other anomalies in my power source at my home in Colorado. After moths of arguing with my local REA utility I purchased an AC Scout. I sent a months worth of data to their "engineer" and even he could not believe how much voltage variation and drops outs showed up. They finally did some troubleshooting and found a loose neutral on the secondary side of their transformer. During this time my well pump motor burned out twice. The pump is 500 feet down so you can imagine how much it cost to pull the pump and replace the motor not once but twice. After threatening to take my case to small claims court, the utility agreed to pay for my well pump repairs. The AC Scout paid for itself three or four times over!
